Transcript: Favorite Middle School Topic The Impact of Climate and Human Activity on the Ozone Layer How To Solve This Problem The Ozone molecule About 90% of ozone in the air equals to around 3 billions metric tons. That is equal to 6,613,867,865,546 trillion pounds. The Ozone Molecule The ozone layer is made up of three ozygen atoms. The weight of the molecule is ~1.76 pounds. Ozone Pollution 50 years ago Ozone pollution During the 70s, 80s, and 90s, humans were emmitting huge amounts of substances that made the ozone layer slowly disappear. Ozone holes were being created because of all the gasses in the air. All the gases in the air was not good for the ozone layer. Human effects on Ozone gasses For people that are 50 years or older are in more danger of seeing ozone related complications than the younger population. Human effects on the ozone If ozone emissions continue, it could have life-threatening issues to all the life on Earth. The weather aournd the world and in the U.S. will get worse and become more deadly. Healing Ozone layer In the 1980s, the world came together to form an international agreement to reduce – and eventually disappear – emissions of these harsh gasses and chemicals. Solution The ozone holes are not growing anymore and are now starting to shrink slowly. In 2017, the ozone hole was healing. Since then, global emissions have fallen by almost 100%. By the year 2040, the ozone layer is expected to reach the levels that they were in the early 1980s. Wrap-Up Conclude Finally, the reason why I chose to do this project is because this topic was my favorite topic in middle school from 7th grade. And second, the topic of climate change really interested me and made me want to research the effects it has on the planet.

When color is not used in the artwork, detail is what is emphasized (effective shading, making subjects three-dimensional, etc.) We should be conduits of their pro flow!
