Transcript: Outreach Student Intern Ministry Administrator Canada Summer Jobs provides funding to help employers create summer job opportunities for students. May - Aug. Canada Summer Jobs: Canada Summer Jobs provides funding to not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers and small businesses with 50 or fewer employees to create summer job opportunities for young people aged 15 to 30 years who are full-time students intending to return to their studies in the next school year. The Gov pays min. wage and the organization then tops it up Hire a part time employee (10 month position, Sept. to June) to complete the administrative tasks in the various Ministries. i.e. emails, waivers, promoting events, planning, registrations, volunteer scheduling, attendance, Plan to Protect and other assignments as instructed by the Pastor. This is to free up the volunteers so they can do their jobs without the burden of these tasks. $16,895 Revenue 1.) 54 people gave over $100 in 2013 2.) 39 have given over $100 so far in 2014 3.) 15 stopped giving since early-mid 2013 4.) 6 have started giving regularly 5.) We continue to have 15 “regular” givers all through 2013 and 2014 We are showing a balanced budget for 2015 which is wonderful for a non-profit organization. If we get into 2015 and our expected revenue is not being met then this is where the Board of Directors will make the necessary adjustments, perhaps by cutting some of the dream big projects or a general budget cut or implementing a spending freeze. If more comes in then that too can be distributed or just added to the reserve fund. Outreach $2000 Claribel Moses Derrek Poirier Donna Hutchison Sheila Hlushak Ministry Administrator $8,652.80 $2000.00 to use for outreach projects. Some possible ideas: have a float in the Town and Country Daze parade, host an event during Brighten Up Beaumont, run a Voluncation, have a random acts of grace day. The Outreach Team would like to have enough funds available to put on at least four events in 2015. These funds will provide financial support for supply acquisition and advertising for these events which will, in turn, help the Beaumont Community Church body engage in local outreach.
